According to CoinMeta, Runway has released a world model Solaris that can directly generate an interface similar to App. This model allows users to create an entire interface without having to write any code. Users' clicks, drags, or text inputs become the conditions for generating the next frame, and a language model determines in real-time what will happen next on the interface and then renders it. Runway also conducted a comparative test with 250 participants interacting in 30 groups. The results showed that 61% chose Solaris when asked to "complete operations according to instructions," while 24% chose Claude. Solaris is still in the research and preview phase and is not yet ready to truly replace App; moreover, the real-time generation cost for each frame is higher than that of a regular web page.
