According to CoinMeta, the price of Bitcoin was hovering below $78,000 on September 1st during trading, after having fallen from the $81,000 range. Due to weakened trend strength, concerns about Federal Reserve interest rates, and nearby liquidation clusters, the cryptocurrency has remained within a narrow range. The current price of Bitcoin is around $77,978, down about 0.8% for the day and about 1.9% over the past week. The asset has retreated from a local high of nearly $81,300 while still remaining above the $77,700 to $77,800 range. Despite recent corrections, Bitcoin is still above the super-trend support level of $72,310, and this indicator continues to show a bullish trend on the daily chart. However, Bitcoin has failed multiple times to maintain a price above $80,000. According to a weekly Bitcoin liquidation heat map provided by CoinMeta, there are a large number of leveraged positions both above and below the current price.
