According to CoinMeta, as the United States launched military strikes against Iranian targets, the global market was shaken, and the price of Bitcoin fell below $77,000. The U.S. Central Command stated that on Tuesday noon, U.S. forces began attacking targets of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard due to recent attacks on commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz and U.S. troops stationed in the region. Bitcoin prices plummeted rapidly after the news broke, dropping to around $76,762, a significant decline from the intraday high of $79,166. According to CoinMeta data, leveraged long positions in the crypto market worth approximately $115 million were liquidated within an hour. This military action exacerbated market uncertainty, leading investors to sell off in large numbers.
