According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Cointelegraph, data from the Federal Election Commission shows that Protect Progress under Fairshake spent $189,000 on advertising to support Jake Auchincloss in the primary elections for Massachusetts' 4th Congressional District. Candidate Jason Poulos pointed out that some of the funds were used to produce pamphlets generated by AI and demanded that Jake Auchincloss publicly condemn this behavior. Jason Poulos revealed that Jake Auchincloss has received donations of $77,500 from the crypto industry since 2020; this legislator voted in favor of Digital Asset Market Clarity Act in July 2025.
