According to CoinMeta, Dell's stock soared 9% due to the AI craze, with analysts raising their target price to $735, setting a new high on the street. Melius Research raised Dell's target price to $735, while BofA and Mizuho each raised it to $600, Raymond James adjusted it to $617, and Evercore ISI increased it to $575. Morgan Stanley, however, was more cautious, raising its target price to $499. The current stock price is $461.50, and a target price of $735 implies a potential increase of about 59%. Dell's report showed that quarterly revenue reached a record $47 billion, a year-on-year increase of 58%, and adjusted earnings per share soared 203% to $7.04. The company also raised its full-year revenue forecast from $167 billion to $192 billion, and the adjusted earnings per share forecast from $17.90 to $25.50. The biggest driving force was AI infrastructure; Dell placed orders for $60.9 billion in AI servers this quarter, generating $16.4 billion in AI server revenue, and ended July with a record $95 billion in backlogs.
