According to CoinMeta, as reported by bitcoin.com and news, by the end of 2025, stocks accounted for 46.71% of household financial assets in the United States, up from 43.99% a year earlier. The research director of Zach Pandl stated that the increasing concentration of stock assets and their relatively high valuations have created opportunities for diversifying investment portfolios with crypto assets. Grayscale indicates that the long-term earnings growth expectation for the S&P 500 index rose above 25% on August 28th. Data published by Grayscale shows that the 90-day correlation between Bitcoin and the Nasdaq 100 index has dropped to around 33%, while the correlation with gold has risen to over 50%. Grayscale points out that Bitcoin has a higher historical volatility than broader stock indices and does not always act as a safe-haven asset.
