According to CoinMeta, as reported by Malwarebytes, there have recently been fraudulent websites that impersonate the countdown pages for GTA's 6th anniversary and "leaked version" sales pages. These sites offer the so-called early versions for $50 or 1 SOL, and trick users into connecting to encrypted wallets. The built-in wallet thief on these sites can target Solana as well as networks such as Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Chain, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Base, and Fantom. It can identify tokens, stablecoins, and NFT within the wallets, and then trick users into approving asset transfers or granting long-term authorization.
