South Korea's KB National Bank Launches Cross-Border Payment Service

According to CoinMeta, as reported by digital and asset, the Bank of Korea (KB Kookmin Bank) will utilize the blockchain deposit account network of Kinexys, by, and J.P (Morgan) to launch cross-border payment services for import and export enterprises, becoming the first Korean financial institution to use this network for corporate payments. The service will be available at domestic branches in Korea and at its branch in Singapore, with support for US dollar remittances in the initial phase, covering 10 markets including the United States, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, India, Thailand, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, South Africa, and Korea.
