Claude E-commerce Agent Open-source: Cooperative partners' shopping cart size increased by 35%, customer purchase rate increased by 60%

According to CoinMeta, Anthropic has open-sourced Claude, commerce, and agents. This is a set of reference codes that allow merchants to build and operate their own agent systems. The system consists of two components: one for consumers, which handles product search, comparison, combination of multiple products, and adding items to the cart; the other for merchants, which helps with sales management, inventory control, pricing, and marketing. The code is licensed under Apache 2.0. The shopping agent process can only direct the cart to the merchant's own checkout page, as there is no direct payment deduction interface in the code. If merchants want to adjust prices, restock, or change promotions, they must first generate a pending modification request, which then requires manual approval before it can be implemented. Relevant restrictions are built into the code to ensure compliance with rules regarding payments, product origins, price adjustments, and manual approval processes. Anthropic indicates that this solution offers higher quality and typically saves more token and results in lower latency when deployed across multiple businesses. After going live, the scale of partners' carts increased by about 30%–35%, and the probability of customers completing purchases increased by about 60%.
