According to CoinMeta, Zcash ( ZEC ) broke through $1,000 on September 4th, and the recent trading price has exceeded $1,010, with a daily increase of about 6%. This upward trend has drawn attention because Zcash experienced significant selling pressure in June due to a fraud vulnerability exposed by developers. Institutional interest has increased significantly, especially after ZEC broke through $800 in August, and grayscale companies have been working to convert their Zcash products into spot ETF, which has helped drive up prices. At the same time, futures activity has surged; on August 22nd, the number of open contracts during the rebound reached $1.76 billion, and the 24-hour futures trading volume was approximately $9.54 billion. The private supply of Zcash has grown to about 4.86 million ZEC, indicating an increase in the use of privacy infrastructure. Currently, the price of ZEC is near $1,011, with the main moving averages around $743, and the long-term averages at $604, $571, and $486, which are still significantly lower than the current price. Although the daily RSI is close to 80, indicating an overbought state, this does not mean that the upward trend will end. The current psychological barrier is at $1,000, and if it can be maintained at this level, price discovery will continue to be active.
