According to CoinMeta, the co-founder of Robinhood and CEO Vlad Tenev stated in a post on X that tokenization is making high-quality financial assets from the U.S. capital market accessible to investors around the world. Although the current industry scale is still smaller compared to the global financial markets, its advantages such as 24/7 trading, asset programmability, composability, and self-hosting are becoming increasingly evident. Tenev pointed out that traditional financial infrastructure, which is built around fixed trading hours, closed networks, and multiple intermediaries, has difficulty meeting investor needs, and it will still take time for the traditional financial system to further embrace tokenization.
