According to CoinMeta, Wu said that he learned that Tether Global Investments Fund, its wholly-owned subsidiary Tether Investments, and Tether's co-founder Giancarlo Devasini submitted a 13D filing with SEC. The filing indicates that all three parties claim beneficial ownership over the same batch of Rum Group (RUM) securities, which corresponds to 261,485,350 shares of Class A common stock, accounting for approximately 50.3% of that class of securities. Among them, Tether Investments directly holds 141,877,369 shares of Class A common stock, and also holds pre-emptive warrants Tether Global Investments Fund that can be converted into 119,607,981 shares of common stock. Devasini is listed as the beneficial owner due to control, voting, and disposal rights.
