He pointed out that the real obstacle at present is not Bitcoin itself, but rather the established valuation, custody, and reserve systems surrounding gold that have been in place for many years. Completing such a transition usually takes several years. CZ believes that Bitcoin has a stronger long-term advantage over gold. The only scenario that could potentially prevent Bitcoin from surpassing gold is if a stronger and faster-growing digital asset emerges before Bitcoin manages to overtake it. However, as of now, this possibility does not seem high.
