According to CoinMeta, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has issued the "15th Five-Year Plan" for the development of the information and communication industry, proposing to accelerate the research and development of core 6G technologies and continue to carry out 6G technology trials. The plan emphasizes strengthening the research and development of ultra-high-speed, large-capacity optical transmission, optical access, and submarine cable optical communication technologies, as well as the research and development and application of new types of optical fibers such as hollow-core fibers. It also includes conducting research on integrated application technologies in industries such as vehicle-mounted optical communication and industrial control optical networks. At the same time, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will enhance innovation in data communication technologies, overcome key technologies such as IP wide-area lossless transmission and flow-level load balancing, advance the research and development of computing power transmission channels such as resource awareness in computing and networking, and strengthen efforts in key satellite communication technologies such as efficient earth-satellite transmission, inter-satellite networking, and routing.
