Stellar Surpasses Ethereum to Become the Leader in the Tokenization of Non-US Government Debt

According to CoinMeta, Stellar ( XLM ) has surpassed Ethereum in the field of non-U.S. government debt tokenization, with a current trading price of $0.1922, representing a 4.4% increase over 24 hours. According to data from RWA.xyz, as of August 20th, Stellar held approximately $490 million in non-U.S. sovereign debt tokens, leading other blockchains. Although Ethereum still dominates in terms of U.S. Treasury tokenization and total market value, Stellar holds an advantage in the field of sovereign debt denominated in non-dollar currencies. The total value of the real assets held by Stellar grew from about $500 million at the beginning of 2025 to $1 billion in January 2026, and reached $1.52 billion in the first quarter of 2026, breaking through $3 billion in June, with an annual growth of about three times. Stellar currently accounts for about 9% of the total value of all distributed RWA, ranking it among the top four networks.
