According to CoinMeta, MoonPay has announced that it has obtained a license as an electronic currency institution (EMI) issued by the Dutch Central Bank (De Nederlandsche Bank), allowing it to issue regulated euro-stablecoins in the European market. This approval enables MoonPay to further develop its offerings, including cards and other financial products, and to solidify its position in the growing stablecoin market in Europe.
