According to CoinMeta, Evan Hubinger, the person in charge of alignment at Anthropic, stated that there is a more than 10% likelihood that AI could lead to human extinction within the next decade. He acknowledged that although Anthropic is making every effort, no plan has yet been formulated to address the issue of superintelligence alignment, and no clear progress has been made in this regard.
