2026-09-10 01:02:51
According to CoinMeta, Bank of America successfully transferred its own USBDC stablecoin onto the Stellar blockchain as part of its cross-border pilot project. This pilot involved Bank of America’s entities in North America and Europe, testing the functions of USBDC such as issuance, redemption, freezing, and recycling, while also integrating with the bank’s existing risk management, compliance, and operational systems. Bank of America stated that this transaction verified its internally developed digital asset platform, which aims to connect tokenized assets with traditional banking infrastructure. The bank is also exploring other applications such as cross-border financial operations, liquidity management, and on-chain collateral transfers.
