According to CoinMeta, Revolut and Visa completed a bank card payment test in France, initiated by AI. During this test, the testing agent "my agent" used French Revolut consumer Visa cards to make a real purchase at Cleverbridge. The transaction underwent identity verification through Visa Payment Passkey and utilized the existing card organization's tokenization, identity checking, and real-time anti-fraud systems. This test was part of the Visa Agentic Ready initiative. Users were required to authorize in advance and set payment limits, but there was no need to manually enter card numbers or provide immediate approval for the payment during the actual checkout process.
