According to CoinMeta, India's largest agricultural products warehousing platform Arya AG announced a partnership with Avalanche to build a dedicated Layer-1 blockchain based on Avalanche technology. This blockchain will be used to tokenize grain inventory receipts, electronic transferable receipts (e-NWRS), and related pledge loan status, in order to help commercial banks verify agricultural credit pledge assets more efficiently and reliably. Data shows that the Arya AG warehousing system holds crops worth approximately $2 billion. The traditional business generates about $1.3 billion in agricultural credit annually, and its non-bank financial institution Arya Dhan disburses loans of about $230 million each year. Devika Mittal, the person in charge of India, revealed that three major banks have already joined this dedicated blockchain, and in the future, the network will also be open to other warehousing giants.
