Symbiosis Recovered 15 BTC after being attacked; Offers a 20% bounty to hackers as a white-hat reward
2026-09-12 09:20:24
According to CoinMeta, the cross-chain protocol Symbiosis revealed that attackers launched an attack on September 11 by exploiting a vulnerability in Bitcoin Bridge. Currently, BTC cross-chain routing has been suspended, while other routes and components such as Octopools are operating normally. The team has recovered approximately 15 BTC and transferred them to a multi-signature wallet. A bounty of 20% has been offered to the attackers; this offer is valid until September 13. If the funds are recovered by someone else after that deadline, they will also receive a reward of the same proportion. The final amount of loss is still being calculated.
