According to CoinMeta, the Minister of Energy of Oman stated: "The Strait of Hormuz will remain open, but this may only be the case in the short term. It is fortunate that Oman can continue to produce oil and gas. The soaring prices of oil and liquefied natural gas are not sustainable for anyone. The situation should stabilize in the medium term, and there is a need to diversify export channels and determine alternative export options, whether through Oman or Yemen."
