goplus Chinese community issues security alert: Proposal attacks may lead to the transfer of 2.5 million USDC

According to CoinMeta, Wu said that the Chinese community of goplus issued a security alert stating that on September 12th, a newly activated eoa address launched a proposal attack against ampleforth, claiming to be "applying for funding for completed work on the spot ecosystem analysis tool." The attack requested the transfer of 2.5 million USDC (almost the entire liquid funds in the treasury) to the proposer. As of the time of publication, the proposal is still in the pending status, with no votes cast yet and the funds not having been transferred. goplus noted that the minimum requirement for a proposal to be accepted is 75,000 Forth, and 600,000 Forth are needed to pass. Calculated at the warning price of $0.27 per unit, approximately $160,000 would be sufficient to gather the required number of votes. The proposer/recipient address currently holds about 87,200 Forth voting rights, and the address entrusted with the voting rights also holds about 87,200 Forth. The voting rights were entrusted to the proposer 19 minutes before the proposal was submitted.
