According to CoinMeta, Avalanche indicates that the UAE Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) is upgrading the underlying blockchain infrastructure of the UAEPASS digital vault to Avalanche, and adopting a dedicated Avalanche L1. UAEPASS is the UAE's national digital identity platform, which currently covers approximately 12.5 million citizens, residents, and visitors, connecting more than 15,000 services and over 350 government and private institutions' digital vaults for storing and sharing verified digital documents.
