According to CoinMeta, the derive community has launched dip, planning to migrate all existing accounts, balances, positions, and related assets from v2 to v3. After the migration is complete, the derive and chain systems based on OP and stack will be shut down. v3 will adopt an architecture of "off-chain matching + zkvm execution + ethereum verification". User assets will be managed by the ethereum mainnet contract, with trading, margin, and settlement logic executed within zkvm and generating corresponding proofs. Status data will then be published to celestia. This proposal is still awaiting governance approval.
