According to CoinMeta, CoinEx has announced that it will close its cryptocurrency exchange after nearly 9 years of operation. Founder Yang Haibo stated that security and compliance risks have become increasingly difficult to control. Users need to withdraw their funds before December 22, 2026, at which time the exchange will officially close. CoinEx also mentioned that the decision to close was due to the continuous downturn in the crypto market, a significant decline in industry trading volume and liquidity, as well as increasingly stringent regulatory requirements from major markets. The reserve ratio of CoinEx exceeds 100%, and all user assets can be safely withdrawn.
