According to CoinMeta, as the clear-cut legislation failed to pass the Senate, the crypto market experienced a significant decline. The price of Bitcoin fell from $79,000 to below $76,000, as the bill did not receive the required 60 votes of support. According to CoinMeta data, over $330 million in positions were liquidated across 8,000 accounts within the past 24 hours. XRP fell by 10%, Ethereum fell by 5.7%, and Solana fell by 5.8%. This bill also failed to pass a similar vote in May 2025 but was later approved two months thereafter.
