據報道，Crypto.com 將於 6 月 14 日在白宮草坪上與 UFC 聯合舉辦一場格鬥賽事，以紀念美國建國 250 週年，屆時將提供該項運動史上最高的選手獎金池。週末公告來自UFC和加密貨幣交易所。

該交易所將向UFC Freedom 250賽事中的部分參賽者發放100萬美元獎金，獎金以CRO代幣的形式支付。由於CRO近期交易價格高於0.068美元，目前獎金池中CRO代幣總量接近1,460萬枚。

UFC總裁兼執行長達納懷特在聲明中表示：「這將是歷史上最具歷史意義的體育賽事，當晚的每一場比賽都有可能成為當晚最佳比賽。Crypto.com將為選手們提供UFC歷史上最高的獎金，高達100萬美元。6月14日，全世界都將關注這場比賽。」

本次賽事的主賽將由輕量級冠軍伊利亞·托普里亞對陣臨時冠軍賈斯汀·蓋奇，而前雙級別冠軍亞歷克斯·佩雷拉將挑戰西里爾·蓋恩，力爭史無前例的第三個UFC冠軍頭銜。該賽事將在美國透過Paramount+平台播出，恰逢該加密貨幣交易所成立十週年。

Crypto.com聯合創始人兼首席執行官克里斯·馬爾扎萊克表示：“我想不出比在白宮創造歷史更能慶祝Crypto.com成立十週年的方式了。我們很榮幸能與長期合作夥伴UFC攜手，共同舉辦Freedom 250——這項賽事超越了體育本身。”

Crypto.com 與 UFC 的合作關係始於 2021 年，當時 Crypto.com 成為 UFC 首個官方比賽裝備合作夥伴。兩家公司也透過 Crypto.com 平台合作推出了 UFC 官方數位收藏品，即 NFT。 UFC 的區塊鏈技術合作夥伴還包括 VeChain。授權的 FIGHT 代幣基於 Solana 和 BNB 鏈。
