As disclosed in the regulatory documents submitted on Thursday, Rivian, Chief Financial Officer Claire McDonough will leave her position at the end of October. The company stated that she will be seeking new career opportunities and moving to the East Coast of the United States to be closer to her family.

The vice president will act as the interim replacement for the position.

Announcements indicate that after McDonough steps down, Rivian, the Vice President of Finance, Derek Mulvey, will assume the role of Interim Chief Financial Officer. The company stated that this departure is not due to any disagreements with the company, and the recruitment process for a successor has already been initiated.

R2 Mass production advancement remains the focus

This senior management change occurred at a time when Rivian is pushing forward key projects. The company is expanding the production and sales scale of R2 SUV. This model has begun to be delivered to customers this summer.

The market focuses on the continuity of management.

During the stages of capacity expansion and ramp-up in deliveries, changes to the financial director's position often attract attention from investors. At this stage, Rivian has not yet disclosed the name of the official successor, nor has a specific time for the selection process to be completed been announced.

Additional information:TechCrunch reports that the related matters are still developing, and subsequent disclosures may continue to be updated.
