Nvidia's market capitalization has recently declined, while Apple has regained its position as the most valuable company in the United States. With AI chip stocks generally weakening, the rankings among tech giants are shifting once again.
Market capitalization ranking changes
Nvidia, which had previously risen rapidly thanks to the AI boom, lost its title as the largest company in the US in the latest correction. Apple, on the other hand, regained the top spot thanks to its relatively stable stock performance.
AI chip stocks also came under pressure.
This round of adjustments didn't just affect Nvidia. Many AI chip-related stocks also declined, indicating a cooling of market buying interest in overvalued tech stocks.
Market focus shifts to valuation
Amidst the continued investment fervor in AI, investors are increasingly focusing on the speed of profit realization and valuation levels. Changes in the rankings of leading stocks also reflect a repricing of the technology sector by investors.
