GoMining announced a partnership with Uphold to integrate with the latter's Platform as a Service (PaaS) infrastructure. Both companies stated that this will help GoMining expand its Bitcoin-related services within its existing applications, initially launching in the US market.

US users will be connected first.

GoMining stated that the initial features will be available to users in the United States. Users can buy, sell, and hold crypto assets within their mobile and web applications without being redirected to other platforms.

Expanding from mining products to a broader ecosystem

GoMining initially started with digital mining products for retail users, allowing them to earn Bitcoin rewards without having to build their own mining rigs. Later, the company added services such as dollar-cost averaging and staking, gradually expanding its business into the broader Bitcoin ecosystem.

The company states that it currently has approximately 5 million users worldwide. GoMining CEO Mark Zalan said the company has shifted its focus from "popularizing Bitcoin mining" to providing integrated products such as payments and education.

Outsourcing compliance and managed services

GoMining did not build its own compliance, licensing, and custody system; instead, it directly integrated with Uphold's existing infrastructure. Uphold will handle account registration, deposits, trading, custody, and back-end processes such as KYC, AML, and anti-fraud.

Uphold states that its platform connects to over 30 centralized and decentralized exchanges, providing liquidity and execution support for enterprise clients. GoMining, on the other hand, retains its client relationships, with users continuing to access the new features through the existing interface.
