According to CoinMeta, following the Federal Reserve meeting, yields on government bonds in the eurozone rose, following the trend of U.S. Treasury yields, with the yield on 30-year German government bonds hitting a two-month high. Previously, tensions in the Middle East had escalated again, and the Federal Reserve decided to keep interest rates unchanged, with Chairman Powell adopting a cautious attitude towards future rate hikes. An analyst from ING Group, Chris Turner, stated in a report that based on the market's reaction to the Federal Reserve's press conference, it is concluded that the Fed will not be as tough in fighting inflation as initially thought. The preliminary data from the eurozone GDP and German inflation data became the focus of attention.
