JPMorgan: Delays in clear legislation may threaten the cryptocurrency market
2026-07-31 15:00:21
According to CoinMeta, global financial institutions suggest that further delays in the Clearing House Act could threaten the broader cryptocurrency market. Analyst Nikolaos Panigirtzoglou pointed out, "The longer the approval of the Clearing House Act is postponed, the greater the threat from the growth of tokenization and blockchain applications, which may ultimately be absorbed by existing market infrastructure rather than belonging to public blockchain networks." The act aims to bring more regulatory clarity and investor protection to the cryptocurrency industry. Although many legislators support the act, some are calling for more ethical language to prevent current practitioners from profiting from cryptocurrencies.
