Additionally, 500 new personnel will be added to the police force, the National Crime Investigation Service (NCA), and the Crown Prosecution Service to track criminal funds. These funds come from economic crime taxes. It is estimated that over 100 billion pounds are laundered through the UK each year, and the development of fintech, cryptocurrencies, and [missing term] has increased related risks.
