According to CoinMeta, the privacy blockchain project Zcash plans to activate an upgrade on November 5th. After the upgrade, it will stop accepting the fourth version of transaction formats that can spend funds from the sprout pool. Funds that are transferred out before the upgrade may become unusable. nu7 is planned to be activated on the testnet on October 6th, and a decision on whether to activate it on the mainnet is expected to be made on October 20th. This upgrade will reduce the target block time from 75 seconds to 25 seconds while maintaining the network's halving cycle. Co-founder Zooko Wilcox has shared relevant reminders.
