Bloomberg Strategist: A bottom of $60,000 for Bitcoin seems unlikely
2026-09-23 18:59:25
According to CoinMeta, Mike McGlone, the chief macro strategist at Bloomberg Intelligence, warns that the stability of Bitcoin around $60,000 may be false, and it is "unlikely" that a bottom will ultimately form at these levels. He pointed out that the market is facing the risk of returning to historical average levels, and the current rebound to $86,200 could be the last warning, suggesting that investors should prepare to buy at more attractive lower levels. McGlone also mentioned that the current crypto market is facing an unprecedented shortage of liquidity, and increased competition from traditional finance is reducing the attractiveness of Bitcoin.
