Is the gold bull market far from over? TD Securities: The next round of gains will break through the "5,000 mark"

According to CoinMeta, as reported by Zhitong Finance, the price of gold has continued to decline, falling below the key support level of $4,300 per ounce. However, TD Securities believes that the downside potential for this precious metal is limited, as the current market environment is conducive to a further breakthrough of gold prices above $5,000 per ounce. TD Securities' senior commodity strategist Ryan McKay pointed out that although gold continues to face the adverse effects of rising interest rates, the underlying investment demand remains strong. "Gold prices are about to see the next round of gains. Despite the Federal Reserve's interest rate hikes, gold still demonstrates strong resilience. As demand for gold grows among investors and central banks, gold is expected to once again challenge prices above $5,000 per ounce in 2027," he added.
