CoinMeta data: According to the latest survey by U.S and Bank among 5,000 American adults, 62% of Gen Z and 61% of Millennials believe that the stock market is a more realistic path to wealth accumulation than buying a house. 48% of Gen Z and 47% of Millennials find new types of investments such as cryptocurrencies more attractive than traditional investments. However, young investors are not entirely optimistic about cryptocurrencies: over the past year, 30% of Gen Z and 28% of Millennials reported a decline in trust in cryptocurrencies, while during the same period, 33% and 29% respectively reported an increase in trust in stocks. The survey also shows that Gen Z starts accumulating wealth on average at the age of 19, which is significantly earlier than Millennials' starting age of 25.
