CoinMeta reports: According to Decrypt, researchers from Bitcoin cryptography developers [[ alloc ] init ] have published a privacy transfer design in the “Zcash style” that allows the sender, recipient, and payment amount to be hidden on the existing Bitcoin network. The paper, which is 56 pages long, was dated September 24, 2026, and was authored by Clara Shikhelman, Mikhail Komarov, and Aleksei Moskvin. Shikhelman mentioned on Twitter that the team has put in a lot of work to ensure privacy and security. Komarov described it as “implementing Bitcoin L1 privacy in the Zcash style through a pipeline.” This design enables the publication of transfer data on Bitcoin while using zero-knowledge proofs to ensure that the sender controls the encrypted “bills” for expenditures.
