According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Reuters, Solidigm, a subsidiary of SK (Hynix) specializing in solid-state storage in the United States, is considering conducting its initial public offering (IPO) as early as next year, with a valuation potentially reaching $150 billion. Sources familiar with the matter said that Solidigm held underwriting bid meetings with several investment banks this week and may raise about $15 billion through the listing. However, the scale and timing of the IPO are still in the early stages of discussion and may be adjusted according to market conditions. Headquartered in California, USA, Solidigm mainly provides enterprise-level SSD products for servers, cloud computing, and data centers, with a focus on the large-capacity storage market required for AI applications. If it goes public, its valuation will significantly exceed that of recent semiconductor IPOs, including ARM which was valued at around $54 billion when it listed in 2023, as well as Cerebras in 2026, which was valued at approximately $56 billion.
