According to CoinMeta, the global number of ATM cryptocurrencies has dropped to 27,358 units, a decrease of 587 units since July 8th, returning to 2021 levels. Of this, 476 units were reduced in the United States. Since 2023, 35 states in the U.S. have passed legislation related to ATM cryptocurrencies and self-service terminals. Indiana, Tennessee, and Minnesota have banned such devices, while Vermont has extended the moratorium on setting up new terminals. The United States accounts for 71.4% of the global total of ATM cryptocurrencies, Canada for 13.5%, Oceania for 7%, and Europe for 5.6%. Together, the United States, Canada, and Australia account for 91% of the global total.
