According to CoinMeta, Meta is building its largest AI data center in Holly Ridge, Louisiana, with over 7,500 workers expected to be on site during the peak construction period. Due to the local housing shortage, mobile home parks such as Antley Pines have rapidly emerged. A couple named Crawford opened Antley Pines in 2024 to meet the housing demand and is now operating 18 units, 14 of which are designated for worker housing. Although local residents have mixed opinions about the data center, the increase in housing demand is evident. The Crawford couple stated that workers pay a deposit in advance to secure housing within the park.
