According to CoinMeta, on September 26th, Bitcoin's 7-day average computing power dropped to 915.8 EH /s, hitting a three-week low, with a reduction of about 34.86 million TH /s within a week. At the same time, miners' reserves decreased by 1,530 BTC. The main reason for the decline in computing power is that some mining companies have shifted their computing power to AI contracts. Hyperscale Data has closed its Michigan mining facility in preparation for AI operations, and Ethiopia has cut off power supply to miners due to declining water levels in reservoirs.
