The incident occurred near Fairford, which is part of the Royal Air Force base in the UK. After the large-scale military operations launched by the United States and Israel against Iran on February 28th of this year, the British government allowed the US military to use that base to strike Iran. The report cited British police as saying that residents from "several residences" in Fairford had been relocated to a nearby leisure center, and that the situation "was under control." The police stated that several men were arrested for suspected violations of the UK's Explosives Act, and military experts were examining the vehicles involved. The police did not disclose whether the arrest was related to the Fairford base.
