CoinMeta Data: Grayscale Investments has submitted an application to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to launch a high-yield fund that will be managed through options products related to certain assets. As of the application on September 25th, Grayscale's existing assets are close to $1 billion. The new fund will make distributions every two weeks and will maintain an indirect exposure to certain assets. Grayscale currently has assets of about $996 million, and the price of those assets surged in September. The fund will not hold any specific cryptocurrencies, nor will it maintain cryptocurrency wallets or control private keys; instead, it will use options related to products traded on certain exchanges. This move reflects an accelerating demand for regulated investments in these assets.
