According to CoinMeta, Zano had to restart its blockchain due to a gateway address vulnerability, rolling back to block 3,833,000 and removing approximately one month's worth of network history. The core team of Zano stated that this emergency recovery required miners, stakers, nodes, exchanges, etc., to install updated software and follow the restored chain. Transactions confirmed during the affected months will not be included in the restored blockchain. Users have been advised to keep their ID and transaction records before sending payments again. Zano plans to release a technical report explaining the cause of the vulnerability and the relevant code. Currently, the trading price of Zano is around $6.32, which has dropped by about 12.85% within 24 hours.
