According to CoinMeta, as reported by ZDNet Korea, Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix have set the mass production and shipment timeline for NVIDIA's 8-layer HBM4 to around the second quarter of next year. An informed source stated that NVIDIA will equip 8-layer HBM4 based on the NVL rack size that is based on Rubin Ultra. Although 12-layer HBM4 will still be the main focus this year, starting from the middle of next year, the proportion of 8-layer HBM4 will increase significantly.
