According to CoinMeta, Saudi Aramco, the state-owned oil company of Saudi Arabia, is close to reaching a $10 billion loan agreement with several international banks. At a time when conflicts in the Middle East threaten crude oil exports, this loan will enhance the company's financial strength. Sources familiar with the matter say that this revolving credit line is expected to be signed in the coming weeks and will be provided by multiple banks, including Citigroup, HSBC Holdings, JPMorgan Chase, and Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, among others. The pricing of this new credit line is expected to be 60 basis points higher than the secured overnight financing rate ( SOFR ).
