Huatai Securities: The Fed will raise interest rates once more in December this year and twice next year

According to CoinMeta, a research report by Huatai Securities indicates that under baseline scenarios, the Federal Reserve is expected to raise interest rates once more in December of this year and twice next year. It is anticipated that on the early morning of October 29th (Thursday) Beijing time, the Federal Reserve will announce the decisions from its October policy meeting. Recent economic data has been mixed, but most Federal Reserve members have expressed reluctance to continue raising interest rates, and financial conditions have also become somewhat tighter. It is expected that the interest rates will remain unchanged at the October meeting, with possibly two hawkish members voting against it. It is thought that Walsh will not provide clear guidance again, but the overall tendency will likely be to maintain a tight monetary policy to avoid causing financial conditions to become overly loose and repeating the mistakes made at the July meeting.
