Morgan Asset Management expects the return on US Treasuries to reach 7%-8% in the next 12 months

According to CoinMeta, as reported by Cailian News on October 27th, Bob Michele from Morgan Asset Management predicts that the return rate of the U.S. Treasury market could be around 7% to 8% in the next 12 months. He stated at an event in Singapore that the yield curve of U.S. Treasuries is already close to 5%, with the short-end yields being slightly below this level. Therefore, Morgan Asset Management expects bond prices to rise, in addition to the returns during the holding period. Michele believes that the long end of the U.S. Treasury yield curve holds the most investment value. He also mentioned that although the Federal Reserve will not raise interest rates this week, it is very likely to send hawkish signals again in December, indicating that it is still in an interest-rate hike cycle. This would be beneficial for the long end of the yield curve, as the market hopes that the Fed will continue to remain vigilant about inflation risks, as the current real yields are indeed too high.
